 GREETING CARDS The greeting cards are 5" x 7" and use the images on the Art Work page. The cards are $3.50 each or 5 for $15.00 plus shipping.  SCARVES Every scarf is drawn freehand on hand-rolled Chinese Silk. No two designs will ever be alike. Once the silk is stretched and the design decided on, a resist may or may not be used to define the pattern before the silk is dyed. The fabric is then steamed for three hours to set the colors, rinsed, and finally, the finished product is ironed. The scarves are hand washable and dry cleanable. The hand written Chinese character you will find on her work is the character for the Chinese word ‘dragon’ which is pronounced ‘long’. Stephany’s maiden name is Long so she uses this on her scarves as well as her brush paintings. The dragon is an auspicious symbol for the Chinese so it seems fitting to sign with her maiden name. |
